More About Our Self Publishing Package
This week we thought we would go over some of the details for our Economical Self-Publishers Package. We have created a service for those authors who are fine with their own marketing strategies. Hopefully, they already have everything in place including knowing which service they want to use for eBook, paperback, and, for some, hardback copies of their books. We recommend purchasing your own ISBN. Then register your manuscript with the Copyright Office. Finally, pre-list your book with the Library of Congress. After you get your printed copies of your book send 2 to LOC for their collection in Washington D.C.
If you want more information please check out our Services and Costs page under the Self-Publishing Package section.
Economical Self Publishers Package
Our Economical Self Publishers Package is for all those writers who want to take the bull by the horns and get their books published. We can help you with that. We offer an all-in-one package per book. That will be formatting your finished work in Word then converted over to Acrobat PDF. It will be uploaded to Amazon for paperback publishing and Kindle eBook format. [Or whichever service you want to use.] We will create one book cover with a spine and back cover for the book and create five 3D book cover images. Once completed we will pull quotes from the book to create a set of 5 promotional posters and a book trailer. The entire process takes about 7 to 10 days from beginning to publication.
Once the book has been approved by Amazon or Ingram Sparks you will need to apply for the copyright yourself which you can do online. And you have purchased the proof copy of the book and receive it please make sure it is printed properly. We will be happy to make adjustments and resubmit.
You can accept the Free ISBN from Amazon and Ingram Sparks** for the paperback version of your book as well as the ASIN number for the eBook but we strongly encourage that you take that information and apply for the copyright yourself at US Federal Government Copyright Office. If you haven’t already created an account with them please do so and keep the user name and password in a safe place.
Sadly, the Library of Congress is not accepting the submission of self-published books that are already published. Please see our Premier Self Publishing Package for those who need assistance to do ALL the steps prior to publication to ensure a lasting and more satisfying publishing experience.
Note to New Authors
**Please remember if you accept the FREE ISBN numbers at Amazon and then decide to publish it with Ingram Sparks you will be given 2 ISBN numbers and that will harm your distribution with the major retailers. Just a note. Buying your own ISBN will help you in the long run.
